Steph's Vow to Adi:

In this Sacred Union, I am committed to the path of Truth and Love.
 

I welcome ALL…fear & love…delusion & awareness…chaos & stillness…fixation & presence…sorrow and joy.   Welcoming ALL…growing together…opening to the living Truth in each moment we can be present to.

I commit to maintain some stillness, forgiveness, and compassion when agitation approaches…and to bow when it departs.

With this ring, I ask you, Adi, to be my partner, my lover, my friend, and my husband.
 

My intention is to give you my deepest friendship and love…not only when moments are high...but when they are low…not only when we remember clearly Who We Are…but when we forget…not only when we are acting with love...but also when we are not.
 

My intention is to always and all ways see you as the Love you Are…and seek always to share what is True within me...the Love that I am…even, and especially…in whatever moments of darkness may come.

I am committed to you and this Love…that together we may serve and share all that is Good within us with all whose lives we touch…and whose lives touch ours.
 

I am committed to creating a welcoming, nurturing, healthy home of love, friendship, music, & laughter…together…with our kids, friends, sisters, nieces, nephews, parents, and, perhaps…grandkids.
 

From the moment you said to me "You have so much Love to give."  From the moment when our hearts were married in Love, when you said to me with so much courage (cour=from the Heart) "My heart is so full of Love for you," to NOW, thank you for loving me and creating this life together.

I enter into this vow of union knowing that this vow reflects a vow that we each take to be wholly true to ourselves, true to Life, and true to Love.
 

In entering this vow I acknowledge that Love is the cause of our union and joy is its expression~
 

I understand that the beauty of our partnership is to support one another, to nurture one another, and to guide one another gently and gracefully into the Heart…
 

I vow to honor this partnership both in ordinary ways and sacred ways knowing that it is in union together that we awaken to the eternal and unbound nature of Love.
 

This vow is one in which we allow life to guide us together, wherever that may lead~
And I understand that in this vow I welcome all that life is- including fear and hardship as well as beauty and joy.

This vow is not taken lightly, and in the eyes of God it is with great laughter that we enjoy playing separate parts under a single Sun.
 

I vow to be whole, and true, and to embody love in this union. I vow to myself and to you, knowing that we are no different, you and I~

We came from the same Source.

Allow me to give you this ring as a symbol of my vow to this union….

I vow to be Love, even at the darkest hour~
I vow to be True, even as things fall apart~
I vow to be Here, even when I am away~
 

This vow now entered, my life continues as it always has- becoming one with the Beloved, but now we partner together in being made whole by Love, for Love, and as Love Itself.

My Heart is so full of love for you, and I am grateful that you will humble me in being my wife~
